- unnecessary names of junior employees
Anonymised complainants
Where a public decision anonymises a borrower or complainant, that anonymity is preserved exactly as the source records it. This archive does not attempt to reverse-engineer or re-identify anonymised parties, and will not publish material that does so.
Names of individuals
Senior officers of a company acting in that capacity may be named where they are named in the public source. Junior employees are not named unless they have acted in a decision-making capacity and their name is integral to the public record.
Material submitted to the archive
Any document submitted in support of a record or a correction is reviewed for personal data before anything is published. Personal data within a submission is not published even if it appears in the original document supplied.
This is a research archive, not a complaints-handling service. Anyone in a live dispute should take qualified advice; personal circumstances should not be shared with this site.
